Certik and YZi Labs have unveiled a $1 million audit grant program targeting early-stage Web3 startups, aiming to fortify security during their most vulnerable development phases. The initiative integrates funded smart contract audits directly into YZi Labs' EASY Residency incubation program, combining Certik's Skynet surveillance and AI-powered security scanning with long-term value creation strategies.

The partnership allocates the full $1 million to selected EASY Residency teams, prioritizing Web3, AI, and biotech projects. This strategic MOVE addresses the critical security tradeoffs startups face when balancing product development with robust protocol safeguards during formative stages.
